23 Jul Saving species one step at a time
Today’s guest is on a mission to save some of the most endangered animals on the planet one step at a time…literally.
Inspired by his time in Borneo, Dom Desmond started Critically Endangered Socks – a social enterprise that partners with animal charities to make a difference.
Dom witnessed first hand the devastation and destruction that palm oil is causing to the rainforest and the animals that live there, and this has inspired him into action.
Critically Endangered socks now help 5 different endangered animals and have just purchased their first piece of rainforest to protect it. In this inspiring interview we discuss the power of travel, sustainable palm oil and how education is key to saving these amazing animals.
